As a Project Scientist for Compass Environmental, Inc. Ms. Hogue is responsible for development of project design, conducting field investigations, data interpretation and report generation. Ms Hogue routinely conducts industrial hygiene investigations, mold assessments, indoor air quality reviews, asbestos surveys, and Phase I environmental site assessments for schools, industrial and commercial clients. Ms. Hogue also develops and presents curricula for environmental adult education courses and OSHA compliance programs. She has 18 years experience in the field. Ms. Hogue earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indiana University. Ms. Hogue is a Georgia certified Inspector and Risk Assessor for lead-based paint activities in housing and child-occupied facilities, and an AHERA accredited asbestos inspector and management planner. Prior to joining Compass Pam was employed as an indoor air quality laboratory technical support and customer service representative for lab services and product emissions testing divisions. Ms. Hogue has also worked as an independent environmental consultant working for private and commercial clientele. Project experience included training over 1500 people on the Hazard Communications Standard as well as updating chemical inventories and providing technical assistance on disposal of unused chemicals. Ms. Hogue was also employed by a large University where she was part of the Emergency Response Team. She was also responsible for laboratory safety inspections and blood borne pathogen and infection control aspects for several hundred laboratories on the campus among other duties. |
